Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies

Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level.
Tuition represents less than 30% of the total cost
to support a musician in the program!

Youth Orchestra - $550
Philharmonia Orchestra - $525
Concert Orchestra - $465
Sinfonietta - $425
Harp - $500

Payment Schedule: Tuition may be paid in full by Friday, June 6, 2008, or in two installments postmarked by Friday, June 6, 2008 and Saturday, November 8, 2008.

A $25 late fee will be charged for any payment postmarked after the due date. Payment
arrangements different from the above plan need to be confirmed with the WYSO office. If no payment or payment arrangements have been made by the first rehearsal, the WYSO member will not be permitted to attend the rehearsal.

Payment Policy: WYSO accepts personal & cashier checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. WYSO does not accept cash for tuition payment. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Refund Policy: If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:
1. Dropout on or before Friday, September 5, 2008: Refund of total tuition paid minus
a $50 processing fee.
2. Dropout on Saturday, September 6, 2008 through Saturday, November 8, 2008:
one half of tuition refunded.*
3. Dropout after Saturday, November 8, 2008: No tuition refund.*

*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced according to the payment policy.

Scholarship applications will be accepted any time during the year in the case where a family emergency affects the member’s financial situation.
