Orchestras
Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO) is made up of 365 young musicians
representing over 80 schools from Southern Wisconsin. WYSO staff is committed
to providing a challenging, non-competitive learning environment where students
can become excellent musicians
and develop a life-long appreciation of music.
By participating in the WYSO program, students are committing to:
• 33 Saturday rehearsals from September to May on the UW-
Madison Campus
• Perform in three major concerts
• Participate in an in-state tour
