WYSO Parent Orchestra Chair Information

As a volunteer, a WYSO Parent Orchestra Chair assists WYSO and the WYSO Parents’ Association leadership with their time and energy coordinating and leading member family fundraising and social goals for the entire WYSO organization. As a critical link to members, orchestra chairs are responsible for organizing and communicating with families during the WYSO season. Each season, WYSO parent leaders recruit two orchestra chairs per orchestra. All orchestra chairs are asked to do the following:

Time commitment is at least one Saturday morning a month for planning meetings plus additional Saturdays during each of the campaigns to make orchestra announcements and provide service for additional duties, as well as time during the week to complete tasks as assigned.

*Assist Parents’ Association Leadership in coordinating various volunteer activities throughout the season.
