Established in 1971, Philharmonia Orchestra performs orchestral literature at the high school and college level. Members generally have three or more years of ensemble experience and perform individually at an advanced high school level. Thomas Buchhauser conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra, which rehearses Saturday mornings from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Philharmonia holds 3 concerts each season and performs for area schools during their annual In-State Tour. Auditions for membership are held each Spring.
