Ensembles

To supplement the educational experience of its orchestra members, WYSO offers a number of opportunities for members to participate in small ensembles. These ensembles have been created to:
•   Allow students to become more proficient on their instrument
•   Learn teamwork and leadership skills
•   Explore musical repertoire outside of the orchestral setting

Participation is some of the ensembles is required of certain orchestra members and fees are included in the total WYSO tuition costs. Participation in other ensembles is voluntary and extra fees must be paid.

Brass Choir (required of all brass players)
Percussion Ensemble (required of all percussionists)
Harp Ensemble (required of all harps)
